Course Offerings

Love INC of Yellowstone County offers a variety of faith-based community classes to help individuals and families grow in their relationships with God and with others. These classes aim to provide practical tools and biblical wisdom to help individuals and families thrive in all areas of their lives. All Life INC classes are held downstairs at The Vineyard Church, 1413 Rosebud Lane.

Affirming Potential

Affirming Potential is a 12-week group class evaluating the physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual areas of life. It builds on the foundation that God has created us with intrinsic worth and unique potential. Participants learn how to use the AP Dream Tool to help set and achieve goals to live out their God-given potential.

Money 101

Let’s get back to the basics of finances. Do you feel like you have control of your money or Is it controlling you? Do you know where all of your money is going and what your current expenses are? Do you know who all of your debtors are and the right way to do banking? In this class you will get organized! You will find out where your money is going, who you owe, and start building up a budget. Learn the basic foundational steps of building a budget and start the process of financial freedom. The second month will cover learning about the value of your credit score and net worth, along with various kinds of loans, savings, and properly using credit. Learn about creating margin to not only de-clutter your finances but also your overall lifestyle and how to practice good stewardship with your money.

Prerequisites: Completed or dual enrollment in Affirming Potential

Boundaries

This curriculum by Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend, addresses specific issues such as: Living a life out of control; having people take advantage of us; having trouble saying no; being disappointed with God because of unanswered prayers; and many more vital issues. Having clear boundaries is essential to a healthy, balanced lifestyle. This class will help you develop healthy physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual boundaries in your life.

Becoming a Love and Logic Parent

This class covers the Becoming a Love & Logic Parent curriculum. This fun curriculum will help you feel more relaxed, hopeful and positive about parenting and interacting with your kids. In this encouraging atmosphere you will cover topics such as: avoiding un-winnable power-struggles and arguments, staying calm when your kids do incredibly upsetting things, setting enforceable limits, avoiding enabling and begin empowering, helping your kids learn from their mistakes rather than repeating them, helping raise your kids to be family members rather than dictators, and much more.

Cost: $20, Fee may be waived for Clearing House participants
